Peter, having spent many years abroad in the Middle East and Europe, now lives in the market town of Beverley surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds.
Starting as an art teacher in UK, he moved abroad to teach English as a foreign language. For many years he worked for BAe systems, working with the Royal Saudi Air Force, and helped create their nationwide purpose-built language course. He received the BAe Systems Award for Innovation for his work as well as citations from the RSAF. He worked in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War and in 1991 was given the Queen’s Gulf War Medal.
He now focuses on memorial sculpture and has created major commissions for RAF 158 Squadron, RAF 47 Squadron, the Women’s Land Army and The Lost Trawlermen of Hull.
